Maggie is a doctoral researcher at Bayes Business School, examining the media representation of entrepreneurship. Her research explores how entrepreneurs are portrayed across on our screens, as well as how entrepreneurial identities are performed on social media. Coming from a background in languages and cultural studies, she brings an interdisciplinary lens to questions of narrative, identity, and cultural meaning. She is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester. Prior to her PhD, she tutored for Stanford University and founded an international non-profit, alongside an award-winning gamification consultancy, which she continues to lead.
