Zhongyuan SUN is an incoming Assistant Professor at Hitotsubashi University. He successfully defended his PhD in Management at the City University of Hong Kong in January 2026. His scholarship explores the nexus of entrepreneurship and social evaluation within the cultural and creative industries, spanning contexts such as film, painting, and music. In his recent work, he employs computational linguistic methodologies to examine how the interplay between the rhetoric and social roles of independent artists in digital marketplaces calibrates consumer judgment and market valuation.
